took an entire root system out of the ground with a four wheeler. roots symbolize growth, just circles in the holes-never ending- always moving, growing. ext. sculpture class-nature project. 
Objective- take an identifiable object and cover it with texture that will end in something ironic. I used a childrens vanity stool, covered it with buttons 'to look as cute as a button' . 
figures made from all tape and cling wrap. Partnerd with Megan Barnes. I made the southern belle and she the photographer. displayed them in the quad and at SLU.

This is a portait of a girl named Emily. I met her once around a camp fire at Nate Curry's and she had this great photo of her lying next to a television so with her permission, she allowed me to use the photo and manipulate it into this. a dream like land. -- it was for printmaking class. which is hard to do. etching and acids and ink. oh my. thats whats i gots for now. critique comment. |
